Palletizers

Palletizers are the pallet forming machines. The product is introduced to
the in- feed conveyor of the palletizer that has three drives for proper
control. There are self tracking conveyor metering belts for product
counting. There are controls for product row forming. The third drive
accumulates the product rows before sending to the layer accumulation
section. The products are transferred to this section in a low profile
sweep. After one full layer has been formed, it is swept to the stripper
plate. Each layer is compacted here and transferred to the empty pallet.
When the required number of layers have been palletized, the load is removed
and another pallet is dispensed.
Types
- Low Level Palletizer
Low level palletizer forms a loading unit, which are fed to the
machine at low level.
- High Level Palletizer
High level palletizer forms a loading unit fed to the machine at
high level. The pallet is raised as the product is transferred onto
it and then lowered.
- Multi Position Palletizer
Multi-position forms a number of different loading units
simultaneously. Group packages are formed into layers and
transferred to the pallet, a layer at a time.
- Robot Palletizer
Robot palletizer forms a loading unit, in a variety of forms, which
are picked up, oriented and placed on the pallet one at a time.
- Lift-off Palletizer
Lift-off palletizer forms a loading unit comprising rigid containers
or group packages. They are formed into layers, lifted and placed on
the pallet, which are formed into layers and then lifted.
