Pallet Stacker

Pallet stacker is an automatic system used for handling heavy goods on
individual pallets. Pallet stackers stack loading units or empty pallets.
They stack single pallet at a time. It is generally in line with the
depalletizer. The empty pallet to be stacked is lifted below the existing
stack. The sensors sense the empty space beneath the stack and lift the next
pallet to the stack. It stacks from the bottom. Pallet stackers are such
that the same machine can perform the stacking and dispensing as per the
requirement.
Types
- Manual (Push) Drive Pallet Stacker
Manual drive is the most economical in terms of purchase price and
on-going repair and maintenance. These machines can move a 2000lb
pallet on a smooth warehouse floor, although if more than 10 pallets
per day are to be handled, then electric drive pallet stacker should
be considered.
- Electric Drive Pallet Stacker
Electric drive pallet stackers will be more expensive to purchase
and operate than manual drive models but are better suited to high
duty use, parking lots and where the warehouse employees cannot
handle the weight around. These models feature forward/reverse
variable speeds and safety brakes.
